I was wondering if there are any groups that are dedicated to shooting buffalo rifles or if the shooters are integrated into groups like the SASS and NCOWS.

While I am not a stranger to distance shooting, I have never shot "buffalo rifles" before. I have shot 30-30, .444, 308, 300 WM, 30-06, 50. cal black powder, ETC... and am very interested in getting started in buffalo rifle shooting.

Other than knowing that I need to shoot targets at some pretty decent distances, without the use of a scope, I don't really know that much about buffalo shooting competitions, what groups are available to me, equipment needed, ETC,... Any help and opionons offered will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Y'all

There's really no "organized" group of buffalo rifle shooters, there are however a lot of clubs around that have "buffalo" matches.
Here's a link to the most famous of them all.http://www.quigleymatch.com/
More info on another shoot can be found at www.alliancerifleclub.com
There are several others that don't have web sites.
