Thanks to all.  Hey Marshall Trace.  I'll keep that one in mind, you do the same, Im lookin for Schofields in 45 LC and Open tops now.  If you even make it outside to this side of the state or are going to Cabelas (which is an hour north of me) let me know, lets link up!  Stay safe

Rosco,

I too will keep you in mind.  But I don't have to come all the way across the state to go to Cabelas anymore.  We got one in Wheeling, WV, a couple years ago.  One of my favorite places to shop or browse.

Have a great week and stay safe out there.

Rosco,

Hi. Welcome!!! Your interests look much the same as mine. I have a pair of 8", Army grip, R-M conversions in .44 Colt, a pair of 8", Army grip, Open Tops in .44 Special (I use .44 Colts in these also), and a small collection of assorted short barreled single actions of the 1870 period (all in .45 Colt). I put a deposit on an 1873 Schofleld with a 3-1/2" barrel in .45 Colt. I pick it up next Sat. I have a number of others, all in .45 Colt, but these I just mentioned are my favorites. I seldom have much to say, but I really enjoy the posts here. I'll look forward to your entries.
PS I have a Cabela's just 11 miles from my office and I have to drive past it twice a day on my commute to/from work, plus I attend a monthly meeting there. I remain indebted to them......
