This is a great opportunity for us Brothers in Masonry to be able to incorporate the fellowship of Masonry withthe fellowship of CAS.  I am sure that there a number of brother Masons who are CAS shooters in the State of Texas. I would be willing to help with establishing Hiram's Rangers in Texas.

NCOWS had a great convention this last weekend, and 4 new brothers were inducted into the Rangers. A couple from MN. and a couple from IA. Watch the website for their names. If you are near those areas and want to be a Ranger contact me and I will see if we can get you together with any of these brothers to induct you. One of our new Rangers  will be in the Phoenix and San Francisco areas this spring ,and has graciously agreed to try to meet with brothers to induct new Rangers. You can contact me for his E-mail to set up a meeting. Meet on the level.   jt

For those of you that have contacted me before this date, I will be in touch.

The next scheduled induction will be Mar 24, Topeka KS. at the GAF shoot. Remember you need to have your current Blue Lodge card and Be clad in 19th century clothing.

I had hoped to be able to do more traveling as I got older but my job has me pinned to South Texas. I have my Blue Lodge card and am in good standing at my lodge and in my valley, I would be able to fax or e-mail a copy of it to the appropriate brother, but moving about the country is not possible at this time fact is I'm lucky to be able to shoot with my club more than twice a year right now.  I'm trying to rectify this but right now I'm on call 7X7 here.
Cousin we been ashooten at each other all day! How about we stop for a beer then we kin go home and get our axes. Or just as good, lets forget this whole dang feud, I'm agetten too old for this anyhow!

Spoke with a couple of new Rangers in the last few days who said they would be doing some travelling and shooting and would be able to induct new Rangers. I hope they see this and post where they will be so if your out there and hear the calling you can contact them to make necessary arrangements.

I will be attending the NRA Convention this weekend and will be able to extend membership to qualified Master Masons.  You need to be in period attire and have a place that we can meet privately.  Please PM or email me if you are interested.  I will be at the NCOWS booth various times each day.

Hello the camp.

I've been admitted into the ranks.  I'm located in central Indiana and will be on the lookout for Brothers who may be interested in the Rangers.

I just tried the website and there seems to be a problem with the server.  I know that I used a good URL as I bookmarked it when I first visited it.

I just tried the link in Dr. Bob's post and it worked fine from here.

I have a request though.  Would it be possible to include our aliases  in the name section of the web site.  Most of us would be unrecognizable with our real names ;D

Howdy Brothers,

This evening, on the way to the NRA Convention, I stopped in St. Charles, MO and added Troy Derringer to our ranks.  He is our web master and a fine fellow.  Welcome aboard Troy!!

Any Masonic CAS shooter that is interested can stop by the NCOWS Booth Friday, Noon to 2 pm or 4 to 6 pm and make arrangements to join Sat. or Sun.  I think that I will be ther 2 to 4 on Sat. and 3 to 5 on Sun.

How many would like to have their alias on the web site? I would have to ask the webmaster if it is possible, Being an NCOWS shooter I really only use an alias here

If you are in the KS/ MO/ NE/ IA/ OK region The KVC will be having the 2 Gun/NCOWS regional shoot MAY 4-6. There will be quite a few Rangers there and it would be a great opportunity to be admitted to the Rangers. Also the best value in WAS in the central US. No need to pre Register, Just show up, We'll even feed you. PM me for more info and directions(near Garnett KS).  Meet on the level.    jt
