trying to shoot gunfighter

howdy,
I was trying to shoot gunfighter this past weekend and found it isnt that easy. First my weakhand is just that...weak! Also I came up with a question for my pards to help me out with.
Do I use my left eye for the left gun and the right eye for the right gun? Or do I use my dominant eye for both guns? Should I close one eye then the other...or should I practise shooting by dead reckoning?
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Howdy Buck
I dont shoot Gunfighter but I shoot double duelist. I use my dominant eye with both eyes open.
Once ya practice a while with your weak hand you'll be up the snuf. You will have to try and see what works best for you with sighting.

Thanks Buck & West Longer - was just about to ask that very same question myself.
I'm cross-dominant - left-eyed & right-handed. This answer works for me

I shoot with both eyes open. You will see two sets of sights. If yer right eye is dominant, line up the left set of sights on the target. For left eye dominance, do the reverse. After awhile yer brain will ignore the second set of sights.

you are right , slim...i noticed that very same thing last night while dry firing and aiming at things. the sight on the right is for the left gun and the sight on the left is for the right gun. I will try it out at the range this weekend. thanks for your input!

Hey Pard,
I keep my revolvers pretty close together and stick with my dominate eye I found that works best for me. Also I think you will enjoy gunfighter more cuz to see the improvement in your left hand shooting skills will leaving you feel good bout knowing that you have become proficant with both hands its also more of a thinking pards game.
