But then again,  they's a lot of money ta be made in them medical offices,  if'n we got him one of them stetascopes ta hang round his neck and a thermometer to take a temperature or two.
we could advertise and get people a coming in,  he could give em a couple of asprins and send em home,  tell'em to call tommorrow.
just like the real doctors.

Naw.  Some "Real" doctors today tell you nothing is wrong with you when you know there is.  The others will have you take several thousands of dollars in tests before they finally tell you it's just a cold. ::) ::) ::)

there are so many medications today and they give you so many, ones working against the others sometimes.

Don't get me started on doctors, I'll end up doing one of my rants.  But my family doctor is not one of them.  He's a friend and belives me when I tell him what I think it wrong.

But sometimes he scares me when he says if you want a second opinion he can use two fingers. :o

Been to a few of those type of second opinion doctors myself Del!  ;D

The doctor I have now is kinda like yours he listens to what I tell him rather than pulling the latest fad medicine off the shelf or using me to pay for his new diagnostic routine.

Keep him and hope he's younger than you so he won't retire soon. ;)   When I have my trouble's like last summer he simply asks me if I need to be in the hospital.

;D  Heck OT I already have all them things. What I need is a piece of paper to hang on the wall........Then there's the matter of the "wall" to hang it on.  Now of course most my patients can't tell me what is xactly what's ailn' them but most of them have 4 legs...

well I always figured it was harder being a vet,  rather than a people doctor.  people tells ya whats wrong with them if ya listen,
but animals ya got to start from scratch and figure it out by what symptons they got.

I have a doctor that I see twice a year.  At my last visit he told me that he's leaving and going to work for a pharmaceutical company. >:( >:( >:(
