ARBY'S HORSEY SAUCE

Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Copycats Sauces

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 c Mayo
3 tb Bottled horseraddish cream
Sauce
1 tb Sugar -- or
2 pk Equal

Mix all well. Keep refrigerated, tightly covered to
use in 2 weeks. Do not freeze.

I do del,but on the stove, I have all cast iron skillets, but just one dutch oven mabey 12" but I can get any size you want. I do A lot of cureing and smoking. I have 4 or 5 smoke houses. been smoken about 30 years now.

I've got an easier recipe:

-Go to Arby's
-Order four sandwiches for five dollars and a quarter
-Explain how you want your sandwich
-Explain again
-While attendant is busy trying to explain to the cook go over to Horsey Sauce bin and fill your pockets

my father was a huge fan of horseradish and we grew a ton of it.  My wife would ask my mother if the horseradish had been processed before we visited, otherwise she would find an excuse to stay home.  It was a potent ordeal I will say.  Dad did not like new fangled gadgets,the horseradish had to be hand grated.   I will have to see if I have his recipe anywhere to be found.

I have done  horseradish still have a patch at our farm.  I used to just grind it, pack it in jars and add about a teaspoon of canning salt to the top.  I then added enough vinegar to fill the space 'tween the horseradish.  White if ya think ya have to hve yer horseradis white.  Cider would be more tradional, red wine viner will give it a hint of pink.

Damn, boys.  Went fer dinner (Del, don't start) 'n Pleazin' had Sandra Lee on 'n the ole gal wuz doin' whores de vhores wit hoss radish 'n fish eggs.  Doan know whut the l'il wafers wuz she was floppin' it on but it sher looked good.

Come in late but I did hear 'er say ta use plastic er wood on the fish eggs er else they'd pick up a metallic taste......

In my life I’ve had caviar once.  A memorable experience involving a NATO delegation, a historic old home, champagne and an ice sculpture that wound up busted into a thousand pieces.

The caviar was quite nice.  I didn’t pay for it, or the damage………..

Was meltin'.  Ice usually does it room temps. The caterers were tryin' ta get it back ta their kitchen, freeze it, spray it ta build it back up so they could restore it for the next use.  It didn't make it ta the van.  They kindah 'slipped'............

I did mention champagne, didn't I?

Yeah, the yeast they use to make it makes a wonderful sourdough starter.
