Howdy everybody.

Good luck to those of you shooting and defending your honor this weekend.

T.T. I have found the trailer I really like...no it does not fit my pocket book and it's pretty darn long. Don't know if I could get it in and out of some of the places we like to go...but it sure was nice. Still thinkin on it.

Howdy T.T.

Here's the interior http://www.logancoach.com/trailers/LQ%20Gallery/platinum/index.htm

here's the exterior  http://www.logancoach.com/trailers/living_quarters.html

and if you go here http://www.logancoach.com/trailers/living_quarters.html  and click on the picture gallery..it shows you some inside shots of the horse area which is real nice to. I'm looking at a 3 horse slant load with 8 foot living quarters.

Last weekend we did get out to our second CAS shoot ever and had a great time!!

WoooooHoooooo Scarlet, I could damn near live in that trailer, it's beautiful Cool Cool
As you said though just be carefull about places you have to get in and out with it, but I suppose there would be plenty of others with big trailers at these spots.

Glad you enjoyed the shoot, and do you mean Mounted or normal CAS shoot??. I thought you had been at it for some time, but it sure is a lot of fun and just the best people Smiley Smiley

Scarlet Angel, Logan builds a great trailer. I pulled a Logan stock trailer for several years it held up real well. I'm stuck working this weekend and watching the snow pile up. Roll Eyes

Great trailer, Scarlet Angel. Looks beautiful outside and inside. It's a real home. Today I've introduce a new member in my local shooting club. I've showed her my Colt SAA .45 with nitro and BP and my Lever Action .38 with nitro. She was enthusiast, shooting for the first time. Maybe a new CAS member in the future.

I've done alot of looking. And so far this Logan has everything in one package I want. Nice for people and horses...and yeah T.T. no doubt it could be lived in real comfortably. Still haven't made the comitment to purchase as it's pretty pricy for me. They have all kinds of stuff on the market now. If you have more $$ to part with you can get a slide out. A press of a button and you get 3 or 4 more feet in width once you get where you're going.

Still thinking on the camper too. At least I could get that in and out of the tighter places and I don't always take my horse...oh but the trailer was sooo nice Smiley

Kidd. I was real impressed with the features of the Logan and have heard it does have a very good reputation.

T.T. last weekend was a normal C.A.S. shoot for us. Been mounted for years, this was our 2nd ever regular. Our first time was with Tensleep about a year ago. Looks like I'm gonna be on the road alot between regular and mounted shooting.  Grin

Silent Joe sounds like you might have someone wanting to go to the CAS shoots with you real soon. Be a patient teacher and she will enjoy it I am sure. I saw a real ah...well we will say not so nice person at the regular range a few weeks ago. I was there with my dad & father in law. Dad was checking out his new Vaquero...this guy half a dozen benches down was trying to teach someone how to shoot. I won't repeat the things he said I'll just say he was not very nice nor was he patient with the new shooter. I told my dad when we got in the car I was sure glad he had never been that kind of teacher or rest assured I would not be shooting today. Dad was somewhat surprised as he didn't pay attention to what was going on down there but there are a few words that caught my attention which made me look. Dad says he doesn't think he was all that a great teacher. I told him he was patient and always answered my questions when I asked. And thanks to him I am a pretty decent shot today.

As we spoke of before Scarlet the flatbed/camper and horse trailer hook up sorta sounds the way I'd go as the camper can still be used whether going to CAS shoots or just a weekend away/holliday etc, but you're the one doing the deciding, so go with what suits you best. Smiley

Both sound good, Regards.............TT. Wink Wink

Shot the first day of a two day match (Rendezvous at Lost River) yesterday. Had twenty four shooters shoot five stages and it was a GORGEOUS day, good friends and good fun. Stump Watter was up to the challenge, then down for the count then back up.
(Jist watching that boy wears me out!)  Roll Eyes
BIG plans for today, 4 more stages, top gun shoot-off and awards, LOTS more FUN!!!

Sadly, the November monsoon hit at 0115 and cancelled the second day of the match, and Stump Watter's Champeenship dethroning was put on hold!  Sad

(Never fear WJ, the plan is still in effect and I planted all the subliminal messages.) Wink

Angel, don't worry. I was an instructor by the Public Transport Cie of Amsterdam and have teached a lot of people for the busses and streetcars. Every man got his driverslicense. And that was work. Shooting is a hobby and I'm proud that someone will learn and asked me for that.
Yesterday she have used my lever action and she was hooked. Times will tell. Nice for you to have a Dad like yours. My Dad dyed in 1987 and I started shooting in 1988, but I know he had loved it to come with me. I'll keep you informed about my student.

Old age and treachery will over come youth and skill ay Tensleep  Grin

Joe, wow that must have taken nerves of steel to teach Smiley

I have to admit I got a darn good one when they were handing out dads. Even my closest friends like to hang out with him. He taught me how to shoot smokeless and B.P.

He doesn't care much for cleaning up the B.P. rifle but is sure is fun to shoot and every now and then I get him to take it out. It's an old Hawkins muzzleloading rifle. One of the skills he also taught me that might impress folks here but I don't put it down on any resumes is I have been trained in the fine art of throwing a tamahawk.  Grin He used to belong to a mountain man reinacting group.

My husband beat us both at the shoot. (wasn't hard to do in my case) but I think dad's gunnin' ta beat him next time. LOL...Like I said old age and treachery.  Wink We are all having a great time!
