Cas City is moving to a faster server

Howdy citizens.

Between July 31 and August 4, Cas City will be in the process of moving to another server. This will be our own dedicated server for Cas City which also means a lot faster download.
The traffic has become so high on the server we share with 100 other websites and we have no option but having one of our own. The tech support is ready to start the transfer and backups have been made.

We plan to make the transfer without any downtime except for a limited time where you will not be able to post on the forum. We expect that period to be limited to 12 hours.

We apologize for the slowness of the website these past few week and this move is our way to speed up the site and make it better for all of us.

Thank you for your support during the 11 years Cas City has been in Internet Territory and we hope you will continue riding with us.

On behalf of Marshal and myself.. I thank all of you for your continuing support for CasCity.
Marshal works 7 days a week..15 plus hours a day on this site.  I am just kind of starting to wet my feet into the executive inner workings of it, and it is overwhelming and battle-rattling me to the max of all I have to learn. I am in awe of what he knows and can do and DOES.. to not only have built this single handedly from the ground up, but to keep it running smoothly every day.
..so you have no idea how much the Thank You's and genuine appreciation make it all worth while.

It takes a whole lot of "togetherness" to make a site like this work and stay alive.
Every one of you members input and interaction on the forum, utilizing the shopping in all the stores in CasCity, and spreading the word for the love of the sport has helped make our town and the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting what it is today. So I am the one who is giving you the thanks you deserve.

I can not end this without giving a huge huge THANK YOU to the our wonderful, top of the line, cream of the crop moderators.. who literally... ( and I am not kidding you an ounce) are our right and left hands.
There is no way that we (especially Marshal)  could manage a site like this without them. In my opinion we have the very best that there is, and there are no words to thank them enough or to show them how much they're appreciated.
(((( Weeelll, I could send them all on a vacation to the "Islands" with $10,000 spending money...and I DO appreciate them that much.... buuuuutttt.... I don't think I could get by with robbing the Coffeville State Bank to get the money to do it. **I kinda think that they are on to that little game.
