Sir,
Today a squad of 6 braved the elements and a force of unknowns. We were attacked at approximately 0900 by roughly 25 well armed bandits out to do us harm. We made our stand at Dry Gulch Range in Winnebago County and put them to flight. During the fray one Pvt Dickweed deserted. If found a court martial panel will be convened and he will be dealt with accordingly. The skirmish ended at 1115 with the squad intact less Pvt Dickweed.
