We're right next door to Ft Leonard Wood, lot's of accommodations in the area. For those of you with the right ID, the BEQ on the base is very reasonable. Come see the place where the United States Army introduces the youth of the nation to a State of Misery, Lost in the Woods . . .

Count me in on the fun,and thanks for all your effort to get this arranged.
-
Hi Drydock
I'll do my utmost to work up a Krag load for lead bullets for this. it's close and I need the work.
Later
-
Drydock, Sir, do you have an approximate round count?
Quick Fire
-
I'd say 60 rifle, 30 handgun should cover the skirmish runs. The "Mad Minute" will of course depend on you and what rifle you shoot: single shot or repeater.
-
If you need help setting up I can get up there a day early and lend a hand
-
I do appreciate that, but I expect to have everything set up the week before, after our CAS match on the 18th.
-
Ok, but if you need anything just let me know
-
Certificates are printed, bronze stars are in, just got the Sharpshooter badge.
-
Colonel Drydock Sir! I will be making the trip to Misery with my partner in crime Quickfire, AKA: ________Jack. Is there any chance that the always entertaining Fingers Magee will make an appearance?
-
It is possible, I will speak to him on the 18th.
-
Hi Drydock
I still WANT to be there, but it appears I will be working in LA the next week. I'll know more later.

Just one week to go! Went to the range today and helped Col. Drydock to set up the stages.
-
Fingers said he might show up, if only to watch. Though I heard him mutter something about having a trapdoor somewhere . . .
-
Hi Drydock
I'm a no show as of today. Heading off to the Left Coast for work Early Monday. Shouldn't be out playing the day before the big trip on a new program.
Y'all have a good weekend.
-
Sorry to hear it. We'll hoist a coffee cup in your name.
-
Hi Drydock
I'm making the trip , coming to your shoot ! I have a couple questions, what will be the longest range that we will shoot? and how late do you think that we will be done ( trying to decide on staying Sun. night or drive home )
Thanks
Whiskey Double
-
rifle will be 25 to 50 yards, no more.
We should be done before 1500 (3 pm)
And glad to have you!
-
Colonel Sir! would it be prudent to bring rubbers?
-
That sounds rather personal to me. There is a large military base just down the road.
On the chance you refer to something else, we're setting on Ozark rock down here, well up a ridge. We have this thing called "Drainage".
Right now the forecast is cool and dry.
-
What are you implying Colonel? The range at Raccoon Forks has drainage, it just happens to be at or near the bottom of the drain! Quickfire and I will be departing Tablerock NE around 0800, should arrive in your neighborhood mid to late afternoon.
-
The range will be open 0800 sunday morning. I live about an hour north.
-
The Chili is simmering, and the last props are loaded on the truck. See y'all tomorrow.
