The hat says it all!

Yep, just stating the fact isn't it! Back in the 80s I had a tee shirt from C. Sharps that said that with a nice Old Reliable symbol on the front.
-
Is that a Shiloh or a C. Sharps product? I've owned only one C. Sharps rifle (a '75) but currently own six Shiloh products.
I liked the [Old Reliable] logo on the C. Sharps.
A guy is trying hard to sell me a Ped SRC in 45-70. Could be useful, but I look at Peds with a jaundiced eye as past experience with them has always disappointed.
He'd have to come way down in his asking price.

Cool text!
Now, from where do I get that kind of hat from?

PJ, if'n you look around enough you'll find older Shiloh products (made before the split) have the 'Old Reliable' markings on the barrels. A friend and I have identical 1874 rifles which both have it. Less than a hundred numbers apart, his was made in Farmingdale, NY and mine was made in Montana. He bought his in Ohio and I got mine used in Kansas. What are the odds? :)

I've got two Farmingdale Shilohs with that logo - a 45-70 Business Rifler and a 50-70 Military Rifle. They also have the Wolf's Head cartouche.
That makes them special to me.

It's a C. Sharps hat.
Actually, I was referring to the rifle pictured along with the hat. But - C. Sharps hat = C. Sharps rifle.
