Title: 44 Colt
Post by: Pappy Hayes on August 05, 2017, 06:39:14 PM
I cannot find 4 Colt in stock in any local stores in Missouri. It looks like Black Hills has discontinued making it. There was another ammo company that would reload if you sent them your brass but they don't do 44 Colt anymore. Has anyone used Jamison Ammo? I had a friend that was reloading for me but he does not have his FFL anymore

Is there anyone here that can do Reloads or know of someone close to my area? I have a lot of brass. Don't want to spend the money right now rorschach reloading equipment. I have another big project going that I need the money for.

Did you ever call Black Hills?  They still lists it, and so does Cimarron.

Fairly pricey, reloads would be cheaper if  possible.

I contacted BlackHills a couple days ago. They said they still produce it.  :D

I just bought Black Hills ammo in both 44 Colt and 44 Russian.  However, at $40 per box, it doesn't take long to pay for reloading equipment.

I've already ordered the caliber conversion and die sets for my Dillon.................

I was going to say the same thing. This ammo ain't cheap and you'll pay for a reloading setup pretty quick. Especially if you're shooting it in matches.
