Nostalgia !
Exactly what it is... I was looking in an old desk of my Mothers and found my Cub Scout knife...
STOP here if you have no interest ... :)

Would have to have been 1955 , I was 7 and had just won my Wolf Cub badge.
My Granddad gave me this Cub Scout knife .... I'm not sure if it was my first, as I recall a Barlow my Dad gave me.
I know now there two manufacturers of Scout logo knives ...Camillus USA and Imperial also USA
Mine is a Imperial with black bone scales , Aluminum bolsters & a brass Logo (Bear head w/ Cub Scouts BSA )
Bear was your Third Badge (Bobcat , Wolf , Bear , Tiger) and there were arrow head achievement badges )
You may not know this was based on Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book
I recall later knives had blue plastic scales....and I believe were Camillus USA
I carried my knife to SCHOOL :o everyday in my pocket , but on Scout Meeting Day and in Uniform it was on my belt clip.

Once it was lost and I went to the School Office Lost & Found ...Bingo someone had turned it in :o and it was returned :o :o :o
and here it is 62 years later ...
of little value ...they are $15 on eBay .... but this one is priceless ;D
