Title: Shot Annual Railroad Flat match with Henry
Post by: Tuolumne Lawman on May 29, 2017, 09:24:50 AM
Just went to the annual High Sierra Shoot out in Railroad Flat, CA.  Three days of great fun and shooting.  Used the Henry on 10 of the 12 stages and shot rifle targets clean with it, even the smallest tombstones on the tombstone falling rack (5 tombstones that get progressively smaller: the smallest is 4").  My 200 grain .45 Schofield "Henry Duplication Load" with 7 grains Trail Boss really smacked the reactive targets down, and was dead nuts accurate.  I do love my Henry!

These stories always remind me of the two civilians fighting with Fetterman in 1866.  Fighting back to back their bodies were found surrounded by empty 44 rimfire cases. Interesting place to visit.
