Here is one someone should jump on. I would but just can't right now.

Boy, it sure didn't last long. I didn't think it would since it was a very fair and reasonable price. I would have liked to have bought it myself but just have other commitments right now. Anyway it is gone now so it is a mute point. Sure hope one of you guys was able to get it.

Nice. What was the price? All it says now is "sold".

A couple months ago there was a 100% USA Nettleton on the Colt forum that went for $1,300. It only took about 30 minutes to sell if I recall.
-
It was $1595.00.

using googlemagic, I was able grab a "cached version"
This USFA Doug Turnbull is in like new condition and appears unfired. Blue finish is near perfect with just
a very light turn line on the cylinder. The case colors are vivid with no distractions. These DT USFA
SAA's were completed by Turnbull using remaining parts left over from USFA. These SAA revolvers are
considered to be top quality SA's and are quite desirable to shooters and collectors alike. Serial #307DT
Comes with box and owners manual.
$40 insured shipping to FFL.
1,595 or best offer.

I have a USFA I'd like to sell. Maybe that's the place to list it. I didn't have much luck with our own classifieds.
-
What model is it and when was it posted here? I just bought my first USFA off gunbroker. I love it and want more but it was very costly. I expect it will be a good long while before I can afford another.

It is a 5 1/2" .45, dome blue, Turnbull cased frame and hammer. Black powder frame, bullseye ejector rod head, factory special order one-piece walnut grips. Was new in box, until I fired about 35 rounds through it. Original box and sleeve, papers, sock and small size 1990 catalog. I listed this several years ago, when I thought I might want to try to use it for trade on the same configuration gun in either .38-40 or .44-40. Ended up keeping this one and buying the other two.
