Farewell to Bill Paxton (Morgan Earp, Sam Houston, etc). He passed away yesterday from complications related to a surgery. I'll probably watch Tombstone or Texas Rising in his honor.

Hatfields and McCoys was one of the roles he played . A great actor . God Bless Him .

Apollo 13 - like his portrayal of Fred Haise, he was a Renaissance Man .... "Farewell, Aquarius, and we thank you."

Was saddened to read this news this morning. I think a part of me will always think of him as Chet in Weird Science, and his character in Aliens.
"In case you haven't been keeping track of current events, we got our a$$e$ kicked!"
priceless.

I also greatly enjoyed him in "True Lies" as the used car salesman posing as an international secret agent to impress women... then running into real international secret agent Arnold Schwarzenegger. Another role that shows his versatility.
