I have a 1911 by Rock Island Armory (Philippines) but not a Cimarron. I bought it in 2010 for $459. All I've ever done to it was polish the feed ramp and keep it clean. It is very reliable. I've shot five Wild Bunch Matches with it so far with no issues. When I shoot a WB match I install the checkered grips.

Here is the Polished Cimarron I opt'ed for ...
Feeds everything I've run through it box stock ... It was  $511 shipped about a year ago .

Mine is the polished one like M2's. I gave more for it but paid for it with Cabela's Bucks. Shot the AZSA World match with it this weekend and nary a hiccup.

I like your holster John...

I made this one before my Gun arrived , I used a 1911 water pistol as my form  :-\
Fit was perfect .

and I'll add quite possibly, my last , arthritis in my hands make it tough to sew  :'(

Thanks for the kind words Major. I made this Holster from a pattern that Ten Wolves sent to me.

I shot a Wild Bunch Match last Sunday. I had two misses, both with my Pistol. Couldn't blame the Pistol as it performed perfectly with no jams. The weather was brutal with temperatures in the 90's and high humidity but I shouldn't have missed.

Got one like it about three years ago, put on double diamond grips and bought some decent magazines for it.

Many rounds through it, zero issues except for the original magazine which wouldn't feed the 7th or 8th round, thus the swap out.

Can anyone direct me to a source for a 1911 style hammer and trigger?

What I'm looking for are 1911 parts not 1911A1 parts. There is a difference.

almost 2 years later.... near 1000 rounds of surplus G'mint Ball and only one fail to fire , it had no primer in it  :-\

I shot a box of factory hollow points fed fine ...and it feeds my reloads so far...

Finish has held up very nicely too ....

I bought some 7 round magazines off eBay made in USA,  2 years ago nary a hiccup ( haven't even used the OEM made In Italy Magazine that came with )

I shot my Cimarron nickle 1911 last Saturday in my clubs monthly match. Ran great even with thos tiny, shiny sights. Shot the 1911 and my Vaquero birdshead .45. Shiny guns matched my shiny nose. Ala Tim Strawn.
