Evening all.

Currently 55 and raining at 1845 here in Billings.  That hasn't changed since last night.  Had a real good thunderstorm roll through at 5am.  Rattled the windows for a good 15 minutes.

First day of class today.  Had history and Ground School.  Tomorrow I have psychology, a business class and flight lab.  Same schedule wed-thirs-fri.  Saturday I just have flight school.  Rinse and repeat through December.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Rained overnight. Got some puddles.

'Tis 64 and overcast. "Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Highs in the upper 70s. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent."

There is a Great Harvest a couple blocks from the school that I just found today.  I thought about stopping, but I was on my way home from shopping.  Maybe tomorrow.

I had three new classes today.  But, I got a bunch of FAA paper work done, and officially have a student pilot certificate. Yay me.

I also learned the one of my professors was going Air Force One on 9/11.  That's kind of cool.

Never understood calling something that wasn't green and leafy a salad.  Mom always called it minced chicken. Grin

It is because it is not just chicken in it.

Don't matter it ain't green and leafy unless you leave it in the ice box to long.  Then it might be salad. Grin

What is the logic behind calling it salad?

In Delmonico’s honor today i will make Macaroni salad. There maybe some green pickles chopped up in it. Then there might not. Grin But macaroni will be the star of the salad  Wink

Morning all.

Had an ice cream party at the flight ops building last night.  Got to meet the whole staff, and watch airplanes all evening.  Not a bag way to spend my evening.

Knocked psychology out for today.  Next I go back to the airport for my next bit of grind instruction.  Filling out weight and balance cards.

Now to weigh in on the salad debate.

According to Webster's 1828:

.Salad
SAL'AD, noun

Raw herbs, usually dressed with salt, vinegar, oil or spices, and eaten for giving a relish to other food.

Leaves eaten raw, are termed salad
