Proper name for this type of latch?
« on: May 21, 2018, 06:39:59 AM »
Hey all.   In the middle of tearing down an old Dr. Bag.   Hardware is in great shape, bag cracked with holes.   I have the frame stripped out and I see that they actually still sell frames.   I really like these latches that came on the bag and cannot find them, but I am pretty sure I have no idea what to properly call them to do a proper search.  My google-fu is failing me.  Help?

You might contact Brettuns Village, they do trunk restos and some luggage resto--they can probably at least get you a name for the part.
In my book a pioneer is a man who turned all the grass upside down, strung bob-wire over the dust that was left, poisoned the water, cut down the trees, killed the Indian who owned the land and called it progress.  Charles M. Russell
