Evening all.

Grandmother arrived safely.  Brought another thunderstorm with her.

Daytime high was 85, humidity hit 80% then started to rain.

I'll toss on some water for the night crew.

Company has arrived in full.  They brought their dog, which fortunately gets along well with my dog (they are currently doing mach 5 up and down the hall).  Tomorrow is the actual graduation, then Saturday we're grilling some burgers.

Grandma's car is acting up, too. We thought it was the front passenger wheel bearing, but the wheel doesn't wiggle.  T case is full, differential is full, the axle shafts themselves have less than 5000 miles on them.   2012 Jeep Liberty, if anyone has any ideas.

TK, those front bearings can make all sorts of noises and still not wiggle. While driving, does it make noise that changes when you turn corners?

Good rainy morning all.

Today's my sister's graduation.  We'll be leaving for the city in about two hours.  I've taken my dog for a walk and showered, so I guess I'm ready.

We've put some more effort into the Jeep today.  Rotated and rebalanced the tires, didn't have time to pull the bearings: that's about four hours each.  Probably just going to take it in to the shop Monday.

Got the A/C unit in. It is much smaller and quieter than the previous one. We'll see if it cools as well.

Afternoon all.

Sister is graduated.  She went with some friends for pizza afterwards, while the rest of the family went to a local burrito place.

Today we've got clouds, but no rain yet.  Should be a good day to grill.

Looks like a good shooter you have there, Major.

Was in the low 90's here today, but no A/C installed yet. Did fix the kitchen window so it would open, though. Been stuck for about 5 years, since I painted the window sashes. ::) With an exhaust fan in the window, and ceiling fans going, it's not too bad in the house-yet. At least not by my standards, anyway. But then I spent the afternoon mowing, hilling 120' row of taters, tilling, and cleaning weeds around the fruit trees. At 90+ degrees. Maybe I'm not the best judge of "too hot". Also set up some hog panels in a big "V" layout with a box trap in the center-hoping to catch the Armor-digger that's been excavating the back yard.
