Morning Coffee is up. Or tea if you’d like.

That big storm front keeps pushing N.E of us, it is as close as Muscle Shoals and Tupleo, weather predictors say rain chances now on Friday.

Wanted to go to range today but other things need to be done this week first

Morning y'all.
Thanks for the coffee.

Saw Billy Graham in person at Urbana '84. Saw he many times on TV. He walked the walk.

Staying home from verk today. My equilibrium is a little messed up. Got up a couple times in the night and was walking sideways. Gonna call the boss and go back to bed.

'Tis 16 and overcast. "Cloudy. A slight chance of light snow in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 30s. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 20 percent."

Had vertigo myself several times over the years, not fun. My Weimaraner got diagnosed with it a couple of months ago. He was falling and couldn't half walk. He's had a few other small episodes but antibiotics seen to knock it right out. And another beautiful day!! Almost 80!

Slim i hope you rid it pretty fast.... i will keep you in my prayers.. that goes for any of ya here.  We all got our ailments.

Another AC day here. We both had chores to do and got them done kind of early. So we made a TSC run finished off a gift card i had and some yankee green backs.   Had a box with 3, day old ducks follow us home. Since no one at TSC KNOWS, i will call them Blue Swedes. Judging by feet color. We will see.
Then a drive up to Gadsden, for some seafood. She had a low country boil, i had broiled Trigger fish with smashed taters non powdered kind, and grilled broccoli. Never had the green stuff that way, nor gave i had Trigger fish. Both were excellant. As always here we both brought enough for another meal home

Watched Lincoln last night 2 of my favorite actors in it. Daniel Day Lewis ( who maybe the greatest actor alive ) and Tommy Lee Jones. Anything he (TLJ )is in is golden.

Evening all.

Weather took a turn for the chilly here the past few days. Today we hit 40, up from 15 overnight.  There was about an inch of that fluffy white stuff on the porch this morning.  I took the dog to the top of one of the mountains after lunch, and there was varying amounts of white, from 2-12".  Had to use the 4x4 in the truck to get up.

I'm home, rained and froze, !aube  1/4 inch, slick but not bad, good tires and  lock-outs help.  Been playing old man, when these kids and their crossver suv thingys tell me it slick, I tell them in my day we did it with just rear wheel drive and bias plys.  I do leave out the part about having to put chains on along the road in freezing rain or snow. ;D

BTW Hipster are starting to wear bibs overalls and those cheap party hats.  Still buying American Spirit cigs and Jim Beam Red Stag.  One tonight was driving a VW Passat.

Went out to eat last night, my wife slipped and fell hard in the restaurant.
I want to take her to the ER but she declined....adamantly ....
when "SHE" is adamant  :o best heed her wishes.
It appears, just soft tissue bruising (I hope) , banged up left knee & right shoulder iced. She took 800 M of Ibuprofen and turnned end early.
Seems better this AM, but is sore and her shoulder is stiff .

Still declines the Dr. ( I think "SHE" caught that from me  ::) , I'll try to tough it out )  but I also realize, we aren't youngsters anymore.
I'll take a PTO and hang out with her should she reconsider....  :-\ .

Beside, the AC service ( maintenance contract ) is due out, and I'll deal with that so she does not had to....

Evening all.  Coffee's on me for the night crew.

Today was at least sunnier than yesterday. High was 40.  I took the dog up a different mountain today.  We took a new trail that we haven't been on before.  It turns out that it goes to a 300 foot drop off.  Most of the trip was on the North face, so it was somewhere around 30 degrees, with a brisk wind.  There was about 12" of that white stuff, too.

Now I'm enjoying a nicely padded couch and a DVD of Tombstone.
