How to ID grip material?
« on: January 06, 2018, 08:57:36 AM »
Howdy!

I am trying to identify the material of construction of a pair of grips I have. They are sized for a Ruger BH or original Vaquero. These are probably 12-15 years old. One set is from Eagle and the other from Ajax. Here are pictures of the grips, Eagle first two, Ajax second two. I have tried contacting both companies but of course they're all closed on the weekend. Any help much appreciated.

Stag...

Both are noted for that work.

These companies have catalogs - you can ID them from what's on offer.

The good news is AJAX responded to my email and said the second set I have pictured is indeed Sambar!
