Is there anyone out here the can direct me to the company that makes the hat the current Texas Rangers use? Make, style, color would be useful. The TR museum used to include some information in their store, but not recently.

Try looking at the sites for 'Bailey', Resistol' and 'Stetson'.
Sometimes, uniform hats are proprietary.

Last I heard, Texas DPS was issued various Resistol hats in a color described as "silverbelly", while the Rangers were allowed to wear any cowboy hat in a color other than black.

Uniform services of TXDPS (Highway Patrol and Communications) are issued custom made Texas Tan cowboy hats by Resistol. The sweatbands are stamped in gold lettering with Texas Department of Public Safety and the Department insignia is on the inside crown. Since the Rangers are a non-uniform service, they purchase their own hats. Most are Silverbelly in color.

What style or shape is it or, do they not have any specific style or shape?
