Lightning Rifle on GB

Hey all,

I just bought a 38WC Lightning Rifle on Gun Broker this week.  It is my understanding that this caliber is quite rare for these rifles.  Anyone else have one in that caliber or have you seen one?

That sounds way cool. I believe you are right about them being rare but I am no expert. Are you going to shoot it or keep it as a collectible?

It is used, so I'll probably shoot it.  They really are fun guns to shoot.  Not as fast handling as a lever rifle, but still very cool.  I have one in 45 colt, another in 44-40 and now this one.  Anyone know of any other calibers they made?

I also have one in .38 WCF.   It seems that they only made them in .45 Colt. .44 WCF AND .38 WCF.   Based on what I've seen for sale over the years, the .45's are the most common, followed by the .44's, and least the .38's.
