Hello the Camp.
Any body out there have an idea on replacing the mainspring/sear spring on the lock of an 1859 Sharps carbine without using a lot of bad language.
I removed it easily to thin down the sear spring leg and ease the trigger pull. But to put it back required with the use of two vise grip pliers, both hands and a lot of reference to the deity, a water retention structures and about 30 minutes to get it back in place.
There must be a trick or a tool that I don't have.
HELP!!
