I don't normally comment on your monthly thread, but that made me laugh. Actually, maybe you're not joking--my daughter says that there is pumpkin spice toilet paper. Because we want EVERYTHING to smell like pumpkin spice...

Ah, Hillary... also known as "Old Spice".
I think I'll send that to my grandson in the Army; he uses Old Spice, but that might change his habit.

Midnight, 86 degrees out, wee scattered clouds, nice night.  Fixin' to get ready to begin to finish cleaning up the kitchen before hittin' the hay, be about again tomorrow.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready for the nighthawks.

Got home from the IA GAF Muster at 2340. It was a good time. Micah shot has first match. He did well.
I did not shoot. I pitched a nerve in my right shoulder and didn't want to drop a gun.

You look like a garden gnome sitting there..."g" is there to keep the "n" company.  Looks like fun was had by all.

Pumpkins are for pie- or chicken and pig snacks not for coffee.

Thanks for coffee Slim

What surprised me was how fancy those nylon wigwams have became since I quit camping with the unwashed masses and the weekend trailer trash almost 30 years ago.

Afternoon all.

I have returned from a week on the mountain.  Eventful week.  I saw a bear, a mountain lion, a seagull, a Russian, a Volkswagen and a pair of KC-135s.  I even got to call in a smoke.  I earned my check. Roll Eyes

I got my truck in better shape.  Still not perfect, but it works.  It's in the shop right now.  We'll see if we get things straightened out.

“Of course it does.  But we gotta get what we can in the mean time.” He said with a lopsided grin.  She smiled back and pulled her Colt, stuffing the barrel into his belly.
“Yer' getting slow.  Better work on that.”  She said and walked back into the house with the empty coffee pot.

TK...not many folks can truthfully say they have seen a mountain lion in the wild...that is awesome!
Del....great work passing along knowledge and history.
Slim...good luck with the chiro.  I had a pinched nerve in the neck last year.  Arm would fall asleep.  Prednizone (sic?) shot took care of it, thank goodness the steroid side affects were only temporary....I couldn't sleep for more than about 2 hours at a time for about a week after the shot.
Slim, again...glad Micah has started shooting and enjoying it!

Miss Red and I got back from the NCOWS Joe Berger Memorial Match last night.  Mary had a molar and wisdom tooth removed on Tuesday, so she was quite the trooper to shoot the match.  She still had swelling this morning!  She had her first clean stage at an NCOWS match, and only her second time shooting NCOWS! Grin  I was proud, but jealous.  Undecided I ended up with a clean shoot on the same stage, but she still has the honor of shooting a clean stage at NCOWS before I did...Way to go Miss Red! Kiss

Best wishes for the shoulder, Slim, and Miss Red's dental issue, too. TK, you shouldn't have admitted to seeing a Russian this week, now apparently you can never run for any office, since you may be guilty of some kind of "Russian collusion". But then I'm probably suspect, too, since I have a couple Mosins and an SVT40.
