.30-40 rnds in a .45-70 belt????
« on: September 03, 2017, 11:36:42 AM »
I have no .30-40 ammo on hand to check this.  Can anyone tell me how well or poorly the Krag rounds fit in a .45-70 Mills belt?  I will get a proper Krag belt from WPG when the blue one is available but 100rnds is heavy and seems excessive for my needs.

Thanks!

It works.  May be a little loose, but that's better than too tight.

Thanks!  I was looking through the Poyer book and discovered that Spalding made a 60 rnd belt for the SAW.  So a 50rnd belt is close.
