Gentlemen,
Does anyone here know whether Uberti percussion revolver chambers are tapered?

I believe they are slightly tapered. It allows the ball to seat tighter.

They are not tapered. Good theory giving a tighter fit, but I actually just measured a .36 and a .44 Uberti and Pietta and they are straight walled. Same with the Ruger.

Pin gauge and a Micrometer is the truth teller. I have also checked my Pietta cylinders, they are all straight wall chambers.

Yep, I used plug gauges and they seem to show a taper. Something always has to be difficult.

Do not confuse a chamber mouth chamfer for a taper.

They're not chamfered to 3/8" deep.

MY 51's and 60's are straight walled, but the Walkers are tapered.
