Considering putting peep sights om my 1894CL 32-20 and 1894CB 45 Colt. They are not drilled for tang mounts and the CL has only scope
holes drilled. Before spending money thought I try to get feed back from actual users and installations.

I like a peep sight, I have a Marble Tang Sight on my 1873 Win repo, Win 1876 repo and my Browning 1885. I find I shoot more accurately with the peep sight.

Both do have the pre drilled scopes holes in the position shown in your photo of the Williams sight. How do you
Like that sight?

I could use that sight on my Big Fish Gun(1895  45-70). Don't think I'll ever use that one in any kind of CAS, I got A 38-55 m-94 If I ever need a big bore for CAS.

I have a Cimmaron 1873 38-40 for the occasions I do CAS. I like to shoot the Marlins mostly at an indoor range and try for
Much smaller groups which are getting harder to achieve with my age in general eyes.

That receiver peep sight would be great for shooting Targets or for hunting.

treebeard...

I've got the Williams (above) on the 32-20, the 44Mag and the 45 Colt.  1/4 MOA click adjust for both Elev&Windage since I run significantly different loads through them all.  Pretty much bomb proof unless you drop it out of a tree.

The 38Sp Competition has a Lyman#2 (below) as I've pretty much settled on a single load range.  Adjustable for Elevation only, and it requires a single additional hold drilled/tapped in the tang.

Thanks for this actual user feedback. I am inclined to get the Williams and give it a try. it's not very expensive and my old eyes could use some help.
