THREAD DRIFT ALARM ....... THREAD DRIFT ALARM ........ THREAD DRIFT ALARM

We .... Collectively .... have managed to drift Pitchy's thread clear into the next county.

I vote we all quit Munden bashing and just concentrate on helping Pitchy to get his gun shooting!!   Grin

Had fun today, couple pards came over and shot a few rounds.
Used the shootin glasses with the small hole in them and tightened up the groups some what.  Smiley
Shot some 45`s in the 1860 using Trail boss powder, I think I like that powder and going to load up some 44 spl. with it.

A load using trail boss with a 250 grain Lead flat point bullet would be appreciated.
Looking for a mild load.  Smiley

Hodgdon lists a .44 spcl trailboss load with a 240gr bullet.  4.0 to 5.2gr, 673 to 763fps.

Thanks Abilene, that should work, I have a lead bullet that weighs in at 231 grains so 4.5- 5.0 should work.
