Period Leather Rifle Case
« on: April 14, 2017, 06:56:22 PM »
I ordered a custom made, period correct leather gun case for my Sharps a few weeks ago from Northwest Traders.  The gun cases are leather outside and wool blanket lined inside. Hand laced and made to your specific gun. Custom Beadwork or Quillwork can also be done. The leather comes in Gold, Smoke or Chocolate.

Attached is a picture of mine which came in this week!  The workmanship and quality is excellent.

Just received my rifle case.  Plain, light chocolate buffalo hide, no beading or quill.  The nicest case around.  Lined with wool blanket.  Bone button closure.  Will be ordering another for my flintlock.

Thanks again for the heads up.

Congratulations!  He does an excellent job.  Take a photo and share :).   I'm fixing to order another too. (That's Texas talk for getting ready to).

Buffalo leather, plain case from Northwest Traders.  $125 plus shipping.  You can add beads or quills for more money.  With my 1885 High Wall 32" barrel 45/70.  Waiting for mid-range sights.

Finally figured how to use Photobucket properly.  What a pain with all the pop-ups and ads.

Nice!   He makes a quality case.  I'm 100% satisfied with mine.
