Even the horrible black guns will be historic someday.

I think someday is now- seems some people are in to building "M16A-1" style AR rifles. Some of the originals are over 50 years old now.

I think only the semi-autos can be C&R.

Lil Roo, I think they issued me your antique almost as soon as you were finished with it. When I was in Germany, I remember there were at least a couple of semi-autos and without forward assist in our unit.

Morning all.

The weather folks said sunny today, but so far the sun isn't up yet and it's still raining.  ::)

I have one of those new fangled black guns.  I built it two years ago because there was a sale on parts.  :P I paid $600 to build it.  Just the other day I was pricing it out, just to see what it would cost to build the same gun today.  Price went up.  Now it would be worth over $800.   ::)  I'm thinking of selling it, if anyone is interested.  ;)

Off to the work place!

I shoot my Ruger bolt gun more than the Matel-gun.  ::)

The sun poked out for about an hour today.  That was about it.  So, I took the dog for a walk in the rain.

Morning all.

Supposed to be a clearer day today, but we'll see.  I have to go to the city today for some shopping, and my sister has a dentist appointment down there.  I should survive...

Rain here for the next couple of days,Mowed the lawn for the 2nd time last night.I figured if I didn't I'd have to rent some goats to get it low enough to mow.

Coffee and other beverages are ready!

Getting ready for tomorrow’s getaway to Atlanta for the NRA Annual Meetings.  Been working on some health issues so I’d be okay to make the trip.  Looks like everything is under control.

Put down another coat of Milorganite fertilizer on the lawn yesterday and tested the sprinkler system.  Got a couple sprinkler heads to replace when I get back.

Looks like a good trip in the offing.

Only 2 hours away. However my health wouldn't allow for such all day affair.
I see Donald will speak Friday there.

Evening all.

Nothing much on this side of the Sierras.  Alternating rain and sun, high around 60 and winds of 15mph +.

I made a stew for dinner.  Simple, but it's better than being hungry.  Just some beef and potatoes tossed in the wannabe dutch oven, aka the crock pot, for about 7 hours.  Came out okay, though a little bland.  Next time I'll add some more potatoes and maybe some carrots and celery if I have some. ::)  Maybe even some biscuits.
