Played at the Mexican Cantina when they carted his body away......

and the line....in Tombstone.... " well Bye  "

Our current Prime Minister (and his late father) enjoys a cozy relationship with Cuba. He was there earlier this month. Says something about their politics .... Now the son is sucking up to Communist Red China.

You guys are so much better off with Trump.

When someone passes, there are always someone somewhere, hurt by the passing. I am sad for that.

Now this is just my opinion, but it could not have happened to a nicer guy.

Cowpokes jesting over the death of someone.............something very discomforting in that. Was he perfect? No. neither are some of the guys we celebrate on this Forum. Did he stand up for his people against a corrupt regime that was allied to organised crime. Hell yes. Did he do it with a letter campaign or an internet poll? No again. He did it with force of arms against a far superior force and he won with many of his comrades dead. Rest In Peace would do.

Well...opinion will vary....

Perhaps had you live in Miami, in the 50's -60's ....as I did

saw first hand the destitute refugees,  not just the ones forced out by fidel , but the earlier one's from batista's regime.

The near armageddon and build up for war in South Florida over the Missile Crisis.... Fortified Key Largo

The mariel boat lift in 80, which included criminals and people from Cuba's mental hospitals.

the cocaine and marijuana trafficking operations.

So.... Yeah ....he is in hell , and I suspect he's looking to over throw Satan

I'm sure that his mother loved him, but Castro was a monster.  He filled graveyards with his victims.  I think we can safely celebrate his death, as we would for Stalin, Hitler, Bin Laden...

Dealt with the Cuban refugees at Guantanamo Bay back in the mid '90's. Heard the stories straight from the real deal and it was some really brutal stuff that these people had to endure.

When asked why they didn't revolt, they basically stated that it was because Cuban citizens were disarmed once Castro came to power.

I thought it was fitting for Castro, at his wake, that the jeep which was carrying his ashes broke down and soldier's had to push it to his memorial?
