Custer Battlefield vs Ainsworth

Are these the same guns (features, markings, etc.) with a different finish and serial number range?

Same gun with a different finish.  The serial number was dependent on what number was next in line.  For example, 2023 could be a Custer, 2024 an Ainsworth, 2025 a custer etc.
