My first Mexican loop rig.
« on: October 27, 2016, 06:23:09 PM »
All thoughts and advice welcome.
This is my first Mexican loop rig.
It has two holsters and a ranger belt with 20, 45colt cartridge loops. Made to look old and used.
It hasn't had the revolvers in the holsters for forming yet.
All hand sewn.

That's a fine rig, Joe. Ya gotta love those Mesican Loop holsters. They're fun to assemble. Good work.

Howdy  Joe,

Hard to believe that  this is your first Rig. Great job. Everything is top notch.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Thanks guys.
Yep, it really is my first Mexican loop rig with cartridge loops.
I have made other holsters and a few gun belts but not many.
Never sewed cartridge loops before.
I was surprised how well the one piece holster locks together when done.

I've been green with envy just looking at rigs posted here.
But no one ever requested a older style rig from me before.
