Here's a pretty decent (if a little hokey) documentary about the gunfight near the OK Corral.  This event, of course, took place 135 years ago this afternoon.  I thought this one was interesting because it gave more of the background that most and seemed fairly balanced.  I don’t personally agree with all of the “facts” presented, but it’s certainly a lot more accurate than many of the movies or TV shows dramatizing the events.  I thought that this was good enough that I searched for and found the DVD, included in the “8 Movie Western Pack, Vol. 5”, as mentioned in the details on the YouTube posting.

The show is still hokey, but does a good job telling the story...

I enjoyed that. There's a funny disconnect though: Lorne Green seems to be the old bit while the film has a modern feel to it. I think it's his narration that makes it hokey not the film. At the end of it I kinda liked the Clantons and the McClorys. Like the Earps more though. Thanks for posting.  Sometime this afternoon I will pause and think of them boys 135 years ago, who stood facing each other. Did you ever think what you might have done?

I should point out that I first posted that last year.  It has been 136 years now.
