Been gone from the site for too long. I moved to Golden Valley, AZ  june 1 2013 and now have my own piece of desert. 

I am looking for Euroarms or Armi San Paolo version(s) of the 1858 Remington. These, being a copy of the Remington-Beals, fit my hand better then the Uberti and the Pietta 1858 versions.

If anyone that has one of the "Gunslinger" pistols I built some years ago I would be interested in buying them back. They are the Euroarms or Armi San Paolo Remington-Beals Remy;s with 5 1/2" Barrels. Built before any Sheriff's models were available.

Good to be back and rekindle old friendships.

Never metcha but welcome back. I've got two ASP 44 SS Remmies. My main match guns are ASM '51 Navy 44s and a pair of Uberti 1863 NMA Millenials. If you are interested, PM me. I agree, the ASP/Euroarms guns are lighter and easier wielding than the klunky Piettas.

I've just the one Remy anymore,  a Factory Conversion  (Uberti)  sweet shooter I figure to hang on to.
I'll sure keep an eye out....

If those SS ASP ' S were blued I'd be beating down the door to get them.
Got to be as close to the 1868-1873 time frame for me. Just missed that ASM Belly Gun on Gunbroker. Just could not pony up the extra from my high bid for  one.
Also remembered that Lyman 1858's  were made by ASP/ Euroarms. Their early guns. They can be told from the later Uberti made guns by the visible threads at the breech. Early guns threads are covered.

 Spent some time today reading my copy of Roger Phillips Remington Large - Bore Conversion Revolvers. My copy is signed to me and number 160 of 250. A good companion to Bruce McDowell ' s a study of Colt Conversions and Other Percussion Revolvers.
Love those Remington-Beals Elliott Model's.
