Howdy Cowboys,

Some interesting changes are in store. As you may know, we regularly ask shooters for suggestions and improvements. Our next shoot on May 28 will incorporate some of those. We will hold all 6 stages at the end of the range. Even though we will not use the falling plate range, you will still be able to enjoy (?) the Texas star in at least one stage. Also all 6 stages will feature shotgun targets, so bring extra shells. One box will not be enough (even if you don’t miss a target).  I think you’ll like the changes, but feel free to give us you comments and criticisms. We have thick skins and welcome any ideas that can make our shoots better.

Please remember that we prep the range as much as possible on Friday, but most targets can’t go out until Saturday morning. We start the process between 7:30 and 8:00 so coming early to help will be greatly appreciated and help get the shooting started on time. Tear-down help is always appreciated as well.

Lunch is included in your $20 range fee. The comfortable clubhouse and porch will be available in which to enjoy the free lunch. No guns or smoking in the clubhouse please.

Here’s our schedule: Apr.16 (3rd Sat.), May 28, June 18 (3rd Sat.), July 23, Aug. 20 (3rd Sat.) and Sept. 24.

Our “Magic Number” prize is in effect at each shoot. We will draw a “Magic Number” in hundredths of a second (just the hundredths). The shooter whose score in any stage, at the end of the day, ends closest to the number gets $20. Ties split the prize. It’s pure luck, so anyone can win and it’s like a free shoot.

Please forward this to anyone you think might be interested. Better yet, bring them to the shoot.
