Beverages are up!

Fish fry went great.  Arteries are recovering.  Tonight itís Cornish hens stuffed with wild rice, roasted in the grill.

Winds: south to southwest winds 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph decreasing to 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph after midnight. Wind prone areas may gust up to 75 mph at times.  Shocked Shocked

Hope the hens donít get blown away!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Pick-up is loaded except the taters which are on the stove in a pot of water to par-boil to save time.   Got a stainless steel stock pot that all 25 pounds fit in.    Grin

Roast pork with Liz's secret rub (she gives it to me so I don't care) good for beef pork and fowel things, great stuff.  Herbed taters with cheese, biscuits and peach cobbler.   Should be an easy morning on this one.

The high winds and rain never showed up here in the high foot hills.

The hens stayed on the grill and turned out fine.   Grin

Got a light dusting of sn@w overnight, but itís already gone.  The winds are picking up, and the guessers are saying rain is coming this afternoon.  Iíll believe it when the patio gets wet.  Roll Eyes
