Been cleaning up the picture files, deleted un-needed duplicates and filing them so I can find them if needed, went from 7.73 gig to 2.51 gig, about done, may get rid of another 1.2 gig or so.

Evening y'all, and here's some night time caffeine for those so inclined.

All the white stuff is melting in the lower areas.  Creeks are flowing, people with AWD cars still think they can go 70 around wet corners, and the medical helicopters are flying over my house every hour or two.  So far, nobody I know.  Yet.

Still got plenty of dark, and 31 degrees.

Supposed to get Wintry mix (whatever that is  Huh) starting about 7AM.  Just hope that mix doesn't keep me from getting the outside Christmas lights down.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The winter mix has decided to turn it'self into white flaky stuff, but I did manage to get the outside stuff into the inside.  Now I just have to put it all in the boxes they came out of and the boxes back on the selves they came off of.

Russ T has a birthday?!  Hippo Birdy Two Ewes, Russ T.  Enjoy the discount for the first time; I got offered "the senior's discount" the first time when I was 43.  That sweet young thing must have thought my white beard meant I was a senior, sort of gave me a fright.  Tonight, I was shopping at Walgreen's, and the nice boy at the checkout just said "I gave you the senior discount, sir.".

What happened to that rack, Del?  I've ridden 7+ shakers that didn't do that much damage.

I still get the standard ‘Are old enough to buy this wine?’ even after letting my grey hair have its own way for the last several years.  Had to dye it one last time several years ago when the lady at the DMV told me I couldn’t put brown as my hair color anymore!  Heck I could even be a redhead at 65 if I wanted to!!!!!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Didn’t get enough of the white stuff to warrant firing up the blower, just ended up sweeping the stuff off with a broom.

Had a laser procedure done on my right eye this morning. The capsule that contained the new lens dried out and changed color screwing up my sight. Things are much clearer now and once the dilation drops wear off, I should be pretty good on that side again. Left eye gets done in two weeks Roll Eyes

It's 27 and sunny here. Back to work tomorrow Tongue

Got a case of pogonip (freezing fog that frosts everything) here this morning.  Nothing to shovel, but it does create rather slippery road conditions.  Luckily I don’t have anywhere to go today.  It does make for pretty pine trees though. Roll Eyes

Had a dusting of snow this morn. 'Tis raining. "Light rain and snow in the evening. Light freezing rain also possible in the evening. Then light snow...Drizzle and freezing drizzle after midnight. Areas of dense fog reducing visibilities to less than 1/4 mile at times. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Nearly steady temperature in the lower 30s. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent."

Good evening y'all.

Nothing really new in my neck of the woods.  Been going to work the past couple of days, though the productiveness is sort of questionable.  Yesterday, we sold two pairs of gloves, and a Ruger LCR.  Today, we sold a whole lot of nothing.  Though I succeeded in annoying one of "those" guys.  You know, the guy who comes in wanting 'a clip for my Glock fo-fie."
I'm not well versed in Glock nomenclature, so I asked if he wanted a magazine for a 45ACP Glock, or a G45.  After some back and forth, we determined that he wanted a magazine for a Glock 30, which is a 45.  So I went to order one, and our distributor was out of stock.  I told him that it could be a while before it got here, so he said nevermind, and wanted to order a gun that is not California legal.  I looked it up, and told him we can't do it, but that there is a California legal model.  He got irate, and actually rather rude.  He did leave, but it got tense...

Thanks fer the coffee.

'Tis 33, sprinkling, and fog. Road is a bit slick. I'll give it a try to see if I can stay outta the ditches. "Light rain. Areas of dense fog reducing visibilities to less than 1/4 mile at times. Highs in the upper 30s. Southeast wind around 5 mph in the morning becoming light and variable. Chance of rain 90 percent."
