Giving thanks for...

...my wife and kids, my parents (RIP), my many friends, my life-long affiliation with good dogs that have enriched my life, and for 73 years of exceptionally good health and good fortune... and even for the last nine months of affliction to even things out and keep me humble. 
 
Thanks, too, for the fact that we live in a great country.  Even with all of it faults and problems, it can't be beat.
 
There's so much more that I'm thankful for, but time and space to list them all are finite while my blessings don't seem to be.

We done did our Thanksgiving last month, and yes, we on this side of the pond have much to be thankful and grateful for.

God willing, and the creek don't rise, may this continue to be our lot.
