My story?  Well....once upon a time in the Great Flatlands of Northwest Ohio....

Ok, so I'm not much of a story teller.  lol  As noted I'm from NW Ohio (Lima area).  For the past 12 years or so I have made my meager living running the SavageShooters.com website.  I started to get a little bored after having been playing with guns with bolts and barrel nuts for so long so I started up a new site this past year that allows me to play with a much more diverse selection of firearms - GunsAfield.com.

I've been shooting and hunting since I was 5 or 6 years old, though I don't do much hunting anymore.  Shot both benchrest and trap for a short period, but found I just don't care much for those types of competitive shooting so mostly I just punch paper for my own enjoyment anymore.  Been eyeballin` this CAS stuff for awhile now though and there are a couple nearby ranges that hold monthly shoots so I may give it a whirl at some point.

As far as CAS friendly firearms go I currently just have a Cimarron Frontier 5.5" in .38/.357 and a Cimarron 1860 Henry Civil War in .45 LC.  Did have a Cimarron 1873 Texas Brush Popper in .38/.357 for about a year and a half but a friend wanted it bad enough to make me an offer for it that I just couldn't refuse.  Hoping to one day stumble across another one for a good price in .45 LC.
