Hi, Folks:

Just got finished reading a very interesting article about "dead zones" in France that
are still off-limits to the public a century after "The Great War" (aka WW I). Pretty
much everyone knows the terrible carnage that took place on the Western Front
especially in places like the precincts around Verdun which saw over 300 days of
non-stop mayhem. I mention this all because included in the list of items and toxins
was lead and arsenic that leached into the water table along with every other damn thing
and it got me thinking. There are supposedly EPA limits on lead that impact water fowl
hunters. Are there also EPA issues about lead concerning ranges and off-range shooting? Thoughts?

Best Wishes,

Bruce

Yeah...probably....

With as much negative press as gun owners get every time some yahoo does something stupid
that includes a gun, I just thought it would be good to consider the footprint we leave on the
environment....or at least show the public that we care. Whatcha think?

Best Wishes,

Bruce
