All packed and the bed load is tarped, the flour is in a dry ice chest in the cab, towels and aprons are in a wooden box in the cab as well as the charcoal and matches.

Pick-up just said, "yer kidding, you call that a load?"

Got rain here overnight (around midnight). The streets and sidewalks were still wet at 6 this morning, but everything is dry now at 11.

Doin’ burgers on the drill tonight. Got tater salad to go with ‘em.

It has gotten Western! We have rain and the Sirens are going off. The Satellite dish went off as well. The Tornado watch is on till 2200 tonight. It is moving SE from Fort Worth, If it keeps moving that way, it will be south of us. We live north of I-30 and the front is near I-20, which is a good deal south of us. We are experiencing high winds and heavy rains.

Well, The nasty stuff has moved through, and headed SE. The wind and rain have stopped. Hopefully we can get a good night's sleep tonight.

I'm back, most the day was fun, then I had an adventure that delayed getting home by about 4 hours. Dang, what are the chances of being 75 miles from home and a friend seeing the hood up on your pick-up (purple has and advantage) and running you 25 miles to the nearest NAPA, then taking you back and putting a lower radiator hose on your pick-up for you.

I think when I went over the UP near Hanover, (nasty track I forgot how nasty) when I bounced the hose flexed enough to kiss the pulley on the air pump, not much clearance, wasn't like that Tuesday when I checked things out, got ready to go, there was a puddle and it was low, found the leak.

New recipe for quick for massive biscuits, 5 lb pound of self rising flour, cut in half a pound or lard and add enough milk to make a sticky dough. Make a 16 shallow and 14 shallow full of biscuits, did that 3 times.

I'm glad the demos went well. I have never heard of something like the hose incident before. The Take-out pizza was good, We had not eaten pizza in awhile. We are under a flash flood warning, We ended up with about 3 inches of rain last night. I got up for the 0330 plumbing check, and now I am ready to go back to bed, and hopefully back to sleep.

Long story short, mother board developed a problem on almost new unit. Under warranty, replaced with different unit. our repair guy is looking for an Apple for us, just about had it with PC problems

It's 37 and showery here. Rain wasn't supposed to start until later today, guess it fooled the guessers
