Good, pic, Stu.

Drove a number of Fairmonts the city, in the purchasin' agent's infinate wisdom, bought for patrol. Wrecked one. Had to be towed. Believe I could have gone back on the street if it had been a Malibu.

Drove a Mercury Zephyr, new, on a six hundred mile trip. Mostly interstate.

Had K-cars when I went to the bureau. Only difference was the Fairmonts w/ 302s were faster.

All junk new.

I totally trashed a few K-cars on the mail route. I used to refer to them as "Bic Cars" named after the Bic disposable lighter. Before that I went through a series of Plymouth'Dodge Aspens/Volare. They were somewhat tougher than the k-cars, at least they didn't have suspension parts breaking up from all my gravel road driving. But they still broke down a lot, but at least they were simple and easy to fix, compared to what I use now.

Had a K wagon at one point also. You're right, crapola :P

My parents bought a '62 Fairlane new. 170 six, three on the tree. had a bad habit of cracking the air horn of the carb if you tightened the air cleaner lid too tight. Learned how to drive in that one ::)

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready for drinking this morning. Enjoy! I got my baby girl from the Animal shelter here in GP. She had been picked up by Animal Control and her either would not or could bail her out. His loss was my gain. I have never regretted paying the adoption fee for her. She loves me and I love her.

Down in the basement working on my sewing/gun/TV Room (never call it a man cave) and I get tangled in a speaker wire, manage not to fall but step in a tray I was sorting nails in the other day, still has nails.  Pulled an 8p out of my toe, just iodined it and headed back.   ::)
