Howdy. Platte Valley Gunslingers sent out an email here this week that may have stated that there is a SASS State Match this year. That is not the case. It seems that the file that Skunk Stomper overwrote did strange things from his version to the others and it shows last years schedules. If you got this email showing this, please disregard.

NOW, onto the next topic. WE NEED TO HAVE A STATE MATCH!!!!
I don't care which club does it or where they do it, but 2 years in a row of not having a State Sanctioned SASS match looks pretty bad. Last I checked there were over 200 current SASS members in the state of Nebraska, and I can bet that only 1/4 of them are shooting. How can we, as a Nebraska group of like minded shooters, get more participation and involvement?

(Now, as I say this, some of you may remember that Freeda and I have not shot a match in almost 3 years now. Our little Wesley (Justin Time) takes up most of our time, and is still a tad too young to be on the line all day during a match. Soon we will be back on the range with our little brasser in tow and hopefully can have the same fun that was had before. )

I agree! I am going to a couple of travel matches this year, but we need one in our home state, even if it is just a big one day match, like maybe 8 stages if a club can't commit to a multi-day event. I'll find a way to help put it on if a club puts it on
