Help!  I have everything for my Confederate Persona but some good boots.

I know that the originals were made with leather pegged soles, but I am looking for a dtyer, lonnger lasting boot ....

Rubber was used as sole material as early as the War of Northern Aggression. More likely by Northern Invaders BUT it was common practice to liberate from the enemy so if you happen to be wearing Yankee boots you'd only be carrying on the tradition.

The problem is finding a pair ... I tried to get a pair out of Fort Western, but there was not enough call for a Cavalry boot to meke them ...
