I'm new to the forums and to western guns so please bare with me. I'm looking for a reproduction 1873 (45 long colt or 44/40), or the 1886 (45/70), but I'm considering a 1894 for the 30-30 round. Would the 45 colt or the 44/40 take down a wild hog?

Welcome to CAS City.

A better place to ask that question would be here.
