I see that you wear them with a "blouse" or gather at the knee in British fashion - of course. The American fashion is not to have that, but a rather taut line of the trouser leg. I've found that restricts movement.

Yes, I suffer enough challenges to freedom of movement without adding more!   Grin

I confess my Imperial limitations!  The British/United Kingdom always did have the best uniforms.   Grin

If anyone needs a nice Edwardian era Infantry Officer's sword c/w leather scabbard, belt and cross strap for their impression I happen to have one I'll part with. I'm trying to finance my way into my next Shiloh rifle.
