Q: How do I edit or delete a listing?

A: When you have your listing opened and you're logged in, you should be able to see a menu above the item title and details.

Add listing | Search | Unviewed | MyBids | MyListings | MyCredits |
Edit listing | Edit Files and Pictures | Delete listing | Send to Friend |

Click on one of the options and go from there.

Is the classifieds an auction site?  I don't see how to post a bid and who the heck is going to wait for 90 days for the bidding to end?

The classifieds can be set up as an auction, but we have for now not enabled this. All categories are set up as regular for sale listings. By default, the listing is set up for 90 days, but that can be changed by the seller.

Thanks for the clarification.  However, about half the ads have no price.  Maybe someone needs to tell them to post a price.

I don't appear to be able to create a topic on the classifieds thread. I want to buy something and I don't see where I can start a new topic to post in this part of the forum.

You create a new listing in the Classifieds ( http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php?action=classifieds )

Select the Wanted category and go from there. When you have posted your wanted ad, it will copied to the classified board.

Bob, first click on "Classifieds" at the top of the page.  Then scroll down just a bit and you will see "Add Listing".  Hope that helps.

Why is there no "new thread" button on the classifieds page? I am unable to make a new post.

how do i set up a new ad?
At the top, click Classifieds, click the forum you want (such as "Misc for sale") and then click where it says "Add listing" just above and to the right of the listings.
